Intercoms, telephone entry systems and directories are most commonly used in apartment complexes, residence halls and condominiums, among other applications. In some cases, including many of DoorKing's available items, tenants/residents do not need a central office phone service to be connected. Instead, a touchtone telephone plugged into the wall jack can provide an immediate connection.
